2014 Industrial and Systems Engineering Research Conference (Toronto, May 31st – June 3rd, 2014)

Welcome to the Abstract Submission site for the 2014 IIE Annual Conference!

The IIE Annual Conference welcomes two different types of submissions:  1) Applied Solutions presentations, in which industry applications of proven solutions are presented, and 2) ISERC presentations, in which research from academia or industry scholars is presented.   Abstracts are being accepted in both categories.  Please review the information below and submit your abstract to the most appropriate type of presentation.

Abstract Submission Deadline: November 22, 2013 – even though late submissions will be accepted if there is space available.

Applied Solutions Conference
Purpose: to present proven solutions from applying industrial and systems engineering principles within industry, healthcare or service companies.  Submissions must include an abstract, a description, and 3-5 presentation objectives.
Time: Presentations are 35 or 75 minutes each.
Industrial and Systems Engineering Research Conference (ISERC)
Purpose:   to present scholarly work by researchers in academia or industry.  Submissions of preliminary research results, works in progress, and significant or final results are welcome.  A full paper is optional (but is encouraged).
Time:  Presentations are 15-25 minutes.
